This is a hands-on and strategic role, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure technology, infrastructure and systems continue to support the growth of the business. You'll be involved across IT strategy, day-to-day operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity and future technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organisational objectives
- Provide strategic technology advice to the Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders
- Develop technology roadmaps, budgets, policies and investment plans
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve productivity, customer experience and business performance
- Lead organisational technology transformation and change initiatives
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery, reliability and performance of IT services
- Manage IT infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, systems, applications, end-user computing and telecommunications
- Establish appropriate service management processes, SLAs, KPIs and performance standards
- Develop robust business continuity, disaster recovery, backup and technology resilience strategies
- Establish and maintain the organisation's cybersecurity strategy and framework

About you

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline




- Strong practical knowledge of computer hardware, servers, storage, networking equipment, peripherals and telecommunications infrastructure
- Understanding of network architecture, including switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, structured cabling and connectivity
- Knowledge of server and storage technologies, including physical and virtualised environments
- Understanding of hardware lifecycle management, procurement, asset management, warranties and equipment replacement planning
- Knowledge of data centre infrastructure, power, cooling, physical security and environmental considerations where relevant
- Relevant industry certifications desirable, such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, AWS, Azure or equivalent infrastructure certifications
