We're looking for a Transport Allocator to join our Courier Operations team. Reporting to the Courier Manager this role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, safe and compliant job allocation across our courier fleet. What You'll Do:

n

Allocating courier jobs efficiently to ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timeframes

n

Coordinating the metropolitan and regional courier fleet to maintain service coverage and performance

n

Communicating clearly and professionally with sub‐contractors

n

Ensuring jobs are allocated to the correct vehicle type and remain within capacity, mass and dimension limits

n

Proactively monitoring live and future bookings to identify and resolve service, safety or capacity risks

n

Managing client expectations by escalating delays, issues and exceptions through appropriate customer service channels

n

Submitting accurate ring backs and job updates to keep customers informed of delivery progress

n

Reviewing daily fatigue communications and re‐allocating work where drivers may exceed maximum hours

n

Completing after‐hours handovers, including live jobs, fatigue risks and available sub‐contractors

n

Recording all critical job information, communication and delivery issues accurately in the Transport Management System (TMS)





n

Escalating incidents, near misses and safety concerns and assisting with investigations when needed

n

Skills & Experience:

n

Strong communication and decision‐making skills

n

High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

n

Confidence working in a live operational setting

n

Previous dispatch, transport or logistics experience highly regarded - but not essential

n

Full Australian working rights
