An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a proven Senior Project Manager to join a respected Melbourne commercial builder delivering complex projects across government, education, health and aged care, community, infrastructure and commercial sectors.

Candidates with experience delivering Victorian Government, education or VSBA projects, together with exposure to operational aged‑care, health or community environments, will be particularly well aligned.

To be successful in being shortlisted for this role, it is ideal you possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years' local commercial construction experience, with a proven track record delivering projects as Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
- Relevant experience across government, education, VSBA, health, aged care, community or comparable institutional projects.
- Demonstrated leadership of project teams and successful management of programme, cost, quality,
safety and contractual outcomes.
- Strong commercial awareness, sound construction methodology and the ability to anticipate and resolve delivery risk.
- Confident client‑facing communication, consultant coordination and stakeholder‑management capability.
- Full Australian working rights.

- Establish the project execution strategy, programme, procurement plan, reporting cadence and key controls.
- Lead and coordinate Project Managers, Site Managers, Contract Administrators, services teams, consultants and subcontractors.
- Manage client expectations and maintain transparent, solutions‑focused communication throughout delivery.
- Oversee design development, buildability reviews, authority approvals, services coordination and value‑management initiatives.
- Monitor programme, budget, quality and risk, intervening early where corrective action is required.
- Ensure contractual obligations, variations, claims, extensions of time and reporting requirements are managed accurately.
- Drive safe delivery, high‑quality finishes, effective commissioning and a disciplined handover and defects process.
- Contribute to tender reviews, project resourcing and continuous improvement across the broader business.
