- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
n
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
n
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision‐making processes.
n
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax obligations and audits.
n
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
n
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.
n
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
n
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks and projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

n

- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
n
- Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within the Transport & Distribution industry or similar sectors.
n
- Robust knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
n
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‐solving abilities.
n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
