Kerman Contracting is seeking multiple WHSE Advisors to help to deliver a brand recent non-process infrastructure (NPI) project for a Tier 1 client. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster.

Roles, Duties And Responsibilities
n
n
- Coaching and mentoring the site leadership team and subcontractor workforce on best practice WHSE procedures
n
- Actively promote a physically and psychologically safe workplace by assisting others to identify, eliminate or control hazards in the workplace
n
- Be actively involved with implementing and maintaining project WHSE Management Plans, Risk Registers, WHSE Procedures and Forms through consultation with all site personnel and stakeholders
n
- Conduct WHSE inspections and be actively involved with WHSE audit
n
- Maintain accurate WHSE statistics.
WHSE reports shall be provided externally to the Client and internally to the Project team and WHSE Manager
n
- Ensure workers have the relevant training and licenses based on the Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
n
- Ensure that the appropriate emergency equipment is available, tested and is compliant
n
- Ensure employees and subcontractors are aware of the safe work procedures and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) process
n
- Experience in managing and delivering training and assessments, such as VOCs (non-high risk), is desirable
n

About You
n
n
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar WHSE position
n
- Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
n
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
n
- Formal incident investigation training is desirable
n
- A positive and team-first approach
n
