Early Childhood Teacher | Brighton

Looking for a passionate, experienced ECT to join our small NFP service!

n

The Centre
n We are a welcoming, community-based not-for-profit early learning centre located in the beautiful bayside suburb of Brighton. Our service prides itself on being a warm, inclusive "home away from home," with a strong focus on relationships, play-based learning, and connection to our local community.
n We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team!

The Opportunity
n This is a wonderful opportunity for an ECT to join a collaborative, community and values-driven team.
n In this role, you will lead the integrated 3–5-year-old kindergarten program, supporting up to 20 children in a well-resourced learning environment. You will be supported by a team of experienced educators and leadership, with generous planning time to deliver a high-quality, play-based program that reflects children's interests and learning needs.

n

The Candidate
n To apply for this role, you will have have experience working as an early childhood educator in the kinder space, or in a similar role and must have a Bachelor Degree in Early Years Education or ACECQA approved equivalent, as well as your Provisional VIT.

n

In addition, you will have an in depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and must have a team focused philosophy, as well as looking to be part of the local community and build lasting relationships with families. The must be goal driven, and have a forward thinking mindset!

The ideal candidate will hold:

n

n
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA approved equivalent
n
- VIT registration




n
- 2 years as the ECT in the 3-4 year old program
n
- Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
n
- Mandatory Reporting Certificate
n
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
n
- Mentoring and Training Experience desireable
n
- Full working rights
n
