Take ownership of maintenance across a contemporary, highly regulated manufacturing facility, with the opportunity to lead a small team.

An established manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Electrician to join their team on day shift. You’ll work across automated production equipment, site facilities and preventative maintenance, while supporting one other Maintenance Electrician.

Who you will be working with

You’ll join an established manufacturer operating in a highly regulated, quality-focused environment. The site uses automated machinery and complex production systems, making equipment reliability and preventative maintenance critical.

You’ll work closely with production, contractors and equipment suppliers to minimise downtime and keep the facility running safely and efficiently.

Duties and responsibilities

- Maintain automated production machinery,



plant and site equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, robotic and control system faults.
- Complete preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinate contractors and suppliers for specialist repairs and technical support.
- Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts and equipment records.
- Assist with new equipment installation, commissioning and validation.

We are looking for someone with

- Trade qualification as an Electrician
- 5+ years' experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience with automated production or packaging equipment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, GMP or another regulated environment.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership.

Experience with PLCs, robotics, HVAC, cleanrooms, calibration or validation will be highly regarded.
