Key Responsibilities & Experience

n

We're on the hunt for someone that loves all things Events! The Events Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of conferences, weddings, and social functions at the resort, ensuring every event runs smoothly and reflects the Rydges brand standard. This role coordinates with clients pre-event to confirm run sheets, room setups, and catering requirements, then leads the on-the-ground team during bump-in, service, and bump-out to ensure a seamless guest experience. The Events Supervisor also supervises and rosters events staff, upholds health and safety standards,



and works closely with the Food & Beverage and Sales teams to maximise event revenue and repeat bookings.

- Previous experience in events as a supervisor working in hotels, bars, events or restaurants.
n
- Experience managing and training teams, driver a robust team culture and driving a great guest experience.
n
- Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
n
- Warm, friendly and approachable manner.
n
- Great communication skills, flexibility and approachable.
n
- Be able to anticipate the guests need and be adaptable.
n
- Promote the venue and brand, maintain strong product knowledge, assist with training, supervision, and role allocation as required.
