Our client is a growing technology and professional services business. With a strong track record of growth and the backing of a large US listed business.

n

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role supporting the financial integrity and reporting of the Australian business while working closely with regional and global teams.

n

About the role

n

n
- Supporting the month-end close, including journals, reconciliations and review of results
n
- Preparing monthly management reporting and financial analysis
n
- Supporting forecasting and planning activities
n
- Maintaining robust balance sheet controls and supporting audit requirements
n
- Applying revenue recognition policies in line with Group and US GAAP requirements
n
- Working with commercial and operational teams to ensure accurate revenue and margin recognition
n
- Monitoring revenue and margin performance and addressing recognition issues
n




- Preparing submissions and supporting information for regional and Group finance teams
n
- Supporting statutory audit and compliance requirements
n
- Partnering with AP, AR, FP&A; and the wider finance team
n
- Contributing to ERP implementation and finance transformation projects
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, automation and reporting
n

About You

n

n
- You will ideally be a CA/CPA qualified accountant, or working towards qualification, with experience across financial accounting and reporting.
n
- Experience in Big 4 or mid-tier accounting followed by commercial experience
n
- Robust month-end, reporting, reconciliation and financial control experience
n
- Exposure to revenue recognition within a services, technology or project-based environment
n
- Experience working within a complex or fast-growing organisation
n
- Exposure to US GAAP, SOX-style controls or multinational group reporting is highly desirable
