We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a major construction management transformation program. You'll work across several projects and workstreams, reviewing current plans, identifying gaps and challenging timelines where needed. A key part of the role will be bringing everything together into one clear and realistic program roadmap that gives the business better visibility of delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project and work stream plans for quality, completeness and delivery readiness.
- Develop and maintain an integrated program schedule and master roadmap.
- Identify critical milestones, dependencies, resource constraints and schedule risks.
- Facilitate planning workshops with Project Managers, workstream leads and business stakeholders.
- Challenge unrealistic dates, unclear ownership and conflicting priorities.
- Monitor project health, risks, issues, assumptions and delivery performance.
- Produce clear executive-level reporting on progress, risks and key decisions.
- Establish governance and controls to maintain the accuracy of the integrated schedule.
- Present delivery insights and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement across project delivery practices and frameworks.
About You:
- Strong experience leading complex business or technology transformation projects.
- Proven experience consolidating multiple project plans into an integrated program road map.
- Excellent project planning, scheduling and delivery assurance capability.
- Strong understanding of critical paths, dependencies, risks and change control.
- Experience coordinating multiple interconnected workstreams with competing priorities.
- Confident facilitating workshops and challenging delivery assumptions.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent executive reporting and presentation capability.
- Comfortable entering a complex environment and quickly creating clarity and structure.
- Able to work autonomously and deliver outcomes within tight time frames.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience across construction, property, ERP or enterprise transformation programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or an equivalent planning tool.
- Formal qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP.
- Experience managing project budgets, vendors and commercial relationships.
