Your new role:As a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Patient Safety Advisor, you'll provide advanced clinical leadership and expert consultancy across clinical incident management, risk identification and quality improvement. You will:Analyse incident data, identify trends and provide advice on system-level improvement opportunitiesSupport morbidity and mortality reviews and the Coronial Liaison OfficeDeliver patient safety education, mentoring and clinical consultancyPromote evidence-based practice, organisational learning and a safe and just cultureAbout you:You are an experienced Registered Nurse who combines advanced clinical judgement with strong quality improvement, communication and leadership capabilities. You're confident working across multidisciplinary teams and passionate about using evidence, data and clinical insight to improve patient safety. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a secure clinical environment.We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need.
