About the role
Sarandis Design is seeking an experienced Senior Draftsperson / Architectural Documenter to join our design team. This is afull-time position based in our Highgate Studio. In this role, you will take responsibility for producing high quality documentation to take our design concepts into buildable solutions. As a senior member of the drafting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our designs are accurately represented and communicated.

Key responsibilities

Produce high quality architectural working drawings to the relevant building codes and standards

Collaborate closely with designers and builders to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings

Review and check working drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance

Manage multiple projects whilst maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

Liaise with external consultants to clarify details and resolve documentation queries

Stay current with building codes, standards and best practices

Contribute to the development and maintenance of office standards, templates and drawing systems

What we're looking for





Minimum 7+ years' professional experience in architectural drafting and documentation

Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD

Excellent knowledge of National Construction Codes and Standards

Robust understanding of materials and construction methodologies

Organisational and project management skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
