Zest Photography is looking for a driven, highly organised and people-focused Studio Manager to take ownership of running our Midland photography studio and leading our team to achieve its goals.

We are looking for someone who loves leading people, takes ownership, is driven by achieving KPIs and genuinely enjoys organisation, structure and making sure things are followed through.

Most importantly, you’ll be passionate about our mission to help women see themselves as beautiful and confident through an empowering Zest Photography experience.

The Role

As Studio Manager, you will work across people, operations, sales, client experience and systems , making sure the many moving parts of a busy photography studio work together.

You’ll take ownership of the performance of the studio, understanding our goals and KPIs, driving the team to achieve them and continually looking for ways to improve results.

You'll lead and support our booking, photography and sales teams, creating clear expectations, accountability and a positive working environment where people can perform at their best.

You'll also conduct face-to-face client viewing and design consultations, helping clients select and purchase the photographs and artwork they love.

This gives you visibility across the entire client journey, from how effectively clients are qualified and prepared, through to their photography experience, final purchase and payment.

Role Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day operations and performance of the studio

Leading, managing and developing our booking, photography and sales teams

Maintaining structure, organisation and accountability across studio operations

Driving studio KPIs and working with the team to achieve individual and business goals

Setting clear expectations and ensuring responsibilities are followed through

Conducting face-to-face client viewing and design consultations

Guiding clients through the selection and purchase of their photography and artwork

Managing client sales, payments and associated administration

Monitoring the client journey and identifying opportunities to improve client experience and studio performance

Ensuring calendars, appointments, client records and resources are effectively managed

Maintaining accurate information within CRM and studio management systems

Supporting and improving studio processes, workflows and systems

Identifying problems early and finding solutions

Role Requirements

Previous experience in a team leadership, management and/or sales-based role

Demonstrated experience managing, motivating and developing a team

Strong face-to-face sales and client relationship skills

Solid administrative and operational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Confident communicating, setting expectations and having difficult conversations when required

Tech-savvy and comfortable learning CRM and studio management systems

A genuine passion for photography and the creative industry
