Administration Manager, Office of the Interim Vice-Chancellor
Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Administration)
Salary Package: $124,392- $133,017 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full Time, Continuing
The Australian National University (ANU) is seeking a highly capable Administration Manager to support the Interim Vice-Chancellor and President and work of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. This role is integral to driving the achievement of strategic goals and ensuring the efficient operation of the Office of the Interim Vice-Chancellor (OIVC) at the highest standards.
As the Administration Manager, you will play a key role in managing the business flow of the OIVC, coordinating key committees and meetings such as the University Executive Committee, and provide high-level strategic advice and stewardship on business processes. You will collaborate closely with the offices senior university executives, academic and professional staff, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to deliver outcomes that align with the University's priorities.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with the ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Your skillset will include:
- Solid strategic capacity, and proven ability to exercise judgement and discretion in a high-profile, confidential environment.
- The ability to work at a high level, completing complex strategic tasks rapidly and accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands,
whilst maintaining attention to detail and exercising sound judgement while working autonomously and within a team;
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, including confidence and ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Detailed knowledge of challenges facing the Australian higher education sector, and the strategic context of the ANU, would be an advantage.
