About the role
This is a full-time position, working five afternoon/night shifts per week from Sunday to Thursday, approximately 5:00pm to 1:00am. Reporting to the Senior Sous Chef – PM Operations, Head Pastry Chef and Executive Pastry Chef, you'll primarily be responsible for overseeing baking shifts, while also supporting broader pastry production.
Key responsibilities
Maintaining the quality and consistency of baked products
Working to tight production deadlines
Ensuring the smooth running of a fast-paced pastry operation
Working closely with the NPD Chef to support the training of staff and the rollout of new products and procedures
About you
At least 3 years' experience in a similar Pastry Chef or leadership role
Strong pastry and professional baking experience
Previous team leading experience
A sharp eye for detail and a genuine commitment to product quality and consistency
The ability to stay calm, organised, and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong communication skills and a cooperative approach to working with the wider Pastry and Production teams
Experience supporting the training and development of team members
Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
