- $83,421 - $96,065 per annum pro rata plus superannuation

About the role

This is a newly created opportunity to support continuous improvement, innovation, and growth in the recruitment space. As the Recruitment Support Officer, you will provide high-quality recruitment administration and coordination services across the organisation, while supporting the effective management of recruitment systems, processes, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders on recruitment-related processes, policies, and systems.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment administration, including providing support to hiring managers and managing recruitment activities within Council’s HR systems.
- Support compliance requirements and ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
- Prepare recruitment correspondence, documentation, and employment records in line with organisational standards.
- Deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience through timely, professional communication and support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide support for broader People & Culture projects and activities as required.

- A proactive mindset and a passion for improving processes and delivering quality outcomes.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills, with the ability to use initiative and sound judgement within established frameworks.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, and/or demonstrated experience in a similar recruitment, HR administration, or coordination role.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
