BioBlue is an Australian-owned manufacturer and national distributor of AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid. We supply customers across Australia through a network of production facilities, dedicated bulk tanker deliveries and packaged distribution.
We are seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler to join our Adelaide Head Office logistics team.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager , you will coordinate bulk AdBlue® deliveries across nominated regions, working closely with drivers, customers and production sites to maintain effective operations and reliable service.
About the Role
This is a hands-on transport scheduling role responsible for delivery planning, route optimisation and day-to-day coordination of our bulk tanker operations .
Plan and schedule bulk tanker deliveries using delivery planning software, allocating drivers, vehicles and routes.
Build efficient local, regional and interstate runs to maximise fleet utilisation and delivery volumes while minimising unnecessary kilometres and empty running.
Proactively review upcoming demand and contact existing customers along planned routes to confirm or bring forward deliveries, helping optimise loads and prevent stock-outs.
Plan around driver availability, fatigue requirements, vehicle capacity, servicing and other operational constraints.
Daily Transport Operations
Act as a key point of contact for drivers and customers throughout daily operations.
Monitor deliveries and adjust schedules in response to delays, breakdowns, urgent requirements and changing customer needs.
Coordinate with drivers, customers, production sites and internal teams to communicate ETAs and resolve delivery issues.
Identify and elevate significant service, fleet, driver, safety or compliance matters to the Logistics Manager.
About You
Highly regarded: Experience in bulk tanker, liquid, fuel or chemical transport, regional/interstate scheduling, and familiarity with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience in transport scheduling or fleet allocation
Strong route planning and multi-drop scheduling capability.
Confidence coordinating drivers and managing changing operational requirements.
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to planning ahead and preventing service issues.
Commercial awareness of fleet utilisation and transport efficiency.
Confidence using transport, delivery planning and general business systems.
