Exclusive to Jenner Recruitment we are looking for a Lawyer / Solicitor to work with Family Law (Family/Divorce/Property/Children) in one of Adelaide's best firms.

The Role

Reporting to the Director/General Manager, together with your professional approach and strong organisational skills, our client is looking for someone who has been admitted from at least one year. The role is open to someone who has the skillset as a Senior Lawyer or an intermediate. You will be someone that has had experience working in Family Law and can add value to our client from the get go.

In order to be considered for this role, the following will be required:

- Working on a wide range of family law matters for both property and parental financial agreements, dispute resolution, divorce/separation and negotiation of financial settlements
- Regular face-to-face and telephone conferences with clients




- Drafting correspondence and negotiating outcomes for clients
- Drafting Consent Orders, Divorce Applications, Recovery Orders
- Appearing in court for Mentions, Hearings, Conferences & Trials
- Legal research and analysis skills, File management skills, Client management skills
- Ability to liaise with Counsel
- Participate in mediations and counsel conferences
- Mentor and support graduate lawyers in their career growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and ensure a cohesive team environment
- Establishing long-term, trusting relationships & rapport with customers
- Attend networking events and provide information sessions for community and professional groups from time to time

About You

You will be a forward thinking and self motivated individual who is committed to assisting clients and the team to reach their full potential.

In order for you to be considered for this position, you will require the following:

- Relevant Australian recognised law degree with an admission to practice law in South Australia with at least 1 year PAE
- Prior experience working within Family Law would be preferable
- Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Prioritisation, organisation & time management skills to meet objectives
- Great attention to detail in drafting
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills with high levels of discretion and ethical judgement
- Ability to adhere to policies, procedures & protocols while still being flexible and empathising with customer solutions.
