About the role:
n
n
- Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will:
n
- Provide Survey Support to the project.
n
- Assist the Technical Services Department to meet operational needs.
n
- Conduct daily volume calculations.
n
- Complete on-site RPAS drone surveys/scans/photos/incident reporting.
n
- Create 3D models of mining sites using design software and digital imaging.
n
- Chart surface areas using GPS/ Drones/ Total Stations.
n
n
To be successful you will have:
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in surveying or equivalent
n
- Open cut mining and/or civil construction experience preferred but not necessary.
n
- RPAS up to 25kgs.
n
- Strong Technical and Analytical skills
n
- Solid organisational, communication and planning skills.
n
- Demonstrated positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour.
n
- Experience using survey software including Maptek Vulcan, Point Studio, Deswik or similar preferred
n
- Current drivers licence.
n
n
This position requires the preferred candidate to undertake a QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment, a Pre-Employment Medical, and successfully complete Standard 11 training.
