The Site Compliance Manager plays a central leadership role at Bluey's World Brisbane, leading safety and compliance as part of the Health and Safety committee, overseeing site operations, physical infrastructure, and building compliance throughout the operational season. This fixed-term role serves as the escalation point for compliance and season-level decisions, supporting the Deputy Site Manager, who continues to lead day-to-day site operations and crew. Your focus will be WHS/HSR leadership, building and structural compliance, environmental/temperature compliance, site-schedule and season-level planning ownership, recruitment, and partnering closely with HODs across the venue, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. This role is not intended to change existing operational processes, but to ensure the continued smooth running of site operations throughout the season. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to workplace health and safety.
Key responsibilities
Act as the Health and Safety Committee representative in all HSR matters, serving as the primary point of contact between management and elected HSRs in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld).
Chair or actively participate in WHS consultation meetings, ensuring HSR-raised issues are addressed promptly and outcomes documented.

escalating unresolved or high-risk items to the Head of Operations.
Lead incident, hazard, and near-miss reporting on site, including standing participation in the weekly Incident Report Follow-up (IRF) meeting.
Manage building, structural, and environmental/temperature compliance obligations across the venue.
Own site-schedule and season-level planning, working with the senior production team to keep site plans accurate and current.
Hold recruitment decision-making authority and final sign-off for new site crew and supervisors.
Coordinate with Heads of Department to address site issues and maintenance requirements as they arise.
Serve as the escalation point for compliance and season-level decisions, supporting the Deputy Site Manager and ensuring he has what he needs to lead day-to-day site operations and crew.
