We have a rare opening for an Assistant Store Manager to join the dynamic team at Samantha Ogilvie boutique.

Located in the premier James Street precinct, the Samantha Ogilvie boutique was founded in 2007 and is home to an exclusive curation of leading international brands across clothing, jewellery and accessories.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a retail role and an interest in working within the fashion industry. Management experience is highly regarded but not essential.

We are seeking a sales focused individual looking to excel in a leadership role that has a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service, personal styling, product and brand knowledge and delivering an elevated luxury retail experience.

Working closely alongside the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will play an integral role in driving sales, developing the Samantha Ogilvie retail team, overseeing daily store operations and ensuring every client receives an exceptional, personalised experience.





To thrive in this role you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a varied and fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

- Deliver an exceptional standard of customer service, with a strong focus on styling and building lasting client relationships
- Demonstrate strong product and brand knowledge
- Support the store manager in leading and developing the retail team to maintain consistently high standards of service
- Prepare and manage staff rosters and timesheets
- Oversee daily store operations and general store administration including opening and closing the boutique, POS system duties and overseeing repairs and alterations
- Ensure e-commerce orders are packed accurately in a timely manner
- Maintain a high standard of store visual merchandising
- Manage client enquiries and store communication through email, SMS and phone calls ensuring a high standard is delivered at all times

This position is a full-time rotating roster including weekend availability. Based in our James Street, Brisbane location.
