THE POSITION - AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Are you the Best? Do you deliver Month on Month? Do you strive for continual improvement? Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for a range of engine and mechanical tests to diagnose, repair and service vehicles.

This role offers you the chance to work in a clean and contemporary workshop with 33 workshop bays and 50 technicians. Our technicians work with Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai and Isuzu Genuine Parts and enjoy regular manufacturer and in-house training, as well as access to up to the minute online data to ensure they remain experts in their field.

DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

- Providing expert advice about the mechanical condition of vehicles
- Repairing mechanical parts of vehicles such as engine, transmission & suspension systems
- Providing guidance to apprentice technicians
- Test driving & conducting final assessments
- Working in a Productive and Effective Manner at all times

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

- Minimum of Certificate 3 Automotive Light Vehicle
- Experience with all necessary aspects of vehicle mechanisms and systems
- Engine, drive train, chassis & electrical experience
- Strong diagnostic skills & attention to detail




- Ability to work unsupervised
- Current manual driver's licence
- Wheel alignment experience preferred

Experience in service & repair of Mazda / Hyundai / Toyota vehicles in a Dealership would be preferred.
