This is a permanent part time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026

The Role

Duncraig SHS is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Marketing and Media Officer to lead and support a wide range of promotional, communication and engagement initiatives across our vibrant school community.

In this dynamic role the successful applicant would coordinate and develop our marketing collateral and school publications; oversee and support the coordination of School events (internal and external); develop engaging digital and print communications, manage the school's website and social media platforms,



and help showcase the achievements, opportunities and culture that make Duncraig SHS a leading public school. As part of the Corporate Services team, you would work closely with staff, students, families and external partners to strengthen the school's profile and enhance community engagement. From coordinating information evenings and promotional events to creating compelling content and marketing, you would play a key role in supporting the school's strategic objectives and promoting its success to the wider community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with strong communication, organisational and graphic design skills (in particular Canva and InDesign) who has experience in marketing; communications or events management. The successful applicant will ideally display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic school environment. They should also have experience using web content software such as Wordpress.

Please note, as this position supports School events that occur in the evenings and on weekends, there may be an expectation for some work outside of normal business hours.
