AWS is looking for exceptional Construction Security Assurance Officers to assist with the management and delivery of project security requirements on upcoming high-security projects. These are site-based roles, responsible for supporting physical security operations in line with client security requirements and project security plans. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and deliver strong outcomes while supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

The role

Working as part of the AWS Infrastructure Operations – Physical Security team,



you will assist with the management and delivery of project security requirements throughout the construction phase of secure facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Supporting physical security operations in office
n
- Assisting with security assurance inspections and compliance activities
n
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents and issues
n
- Liaising with project stakeholders and client representatives
n
- Supporting reporting, documentation and risk mitigation activities
n
- Maintaining compliance with project security requirements and security plans
n

Skills and experience

n

n
- Experience in physical security or security management
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Physical Security Operations role
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
- Experience in high-security environments highly regarded
n
- Construction or infrastructure project experience desirable
n
- Understanding of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) desirable
n

Requirements

- Australian Citizenship required
n
- Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Security Clearance
n
- Ability to successfully complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment
n
- Ability to work in a site-based construction environment
n
- Ability to maintain relevant security clearances and accreditations as required for the project
