Responsibilities
n

- Carrying out measurements and basic calculations
n
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
n
- Erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
n
- Handling painting and decorating materials
n
- Using painting and decorating tools and equipment
n
- Removing and replacing doors, windows, and components
n
- Preparing surfaces for painting
n
- Applying paint using brushes and rollers
n
- Applying textured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray
n
n
Qualifications
n

- Genuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
n
- A White Card, or ability to obtain one as soon as possible
n
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
n
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
n
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
n
- Ability to follow instructions and take direction
n
- Trustworthiness and motivation
n

- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

- Previous painting or construction‐related work experience
