We’re looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our Manufacturing team at our Luscombe Head Office, conveniently located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with some experience in purchasing, procurement, materials or supply coordination who is looking for their next step and the opportunity to build their career within a large, established organisation.

Working as part of an experienced and supportive team, you’ll assist with the day-to-day purchasing requirements of our manufacturing operation – raising purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, following up deliveries and helping ensure materials are available when our teams need them.

You don’t need to be a senior procurement specialist. We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, good with systems and keen to continue learning and developing their purchasing experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Raise and manage purchase orders for materials and subcontractor works

Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, pricing and deliveries

Follow up and expedite materials to meet manufacturing requirements

Assist with purchasing requirements across multiple projects

Review plans and information to assist with material and subcontractor requirements

Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation

Help resolve supply and delivery issues as they arise

Assist with stocktake and month-end activities

Work closely with manufacturing and other internal teams to keep things moving

What You’ll Bring

Some previous experience in purchasing, procurement, materials, supply or a similar role

Construction or manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but isn’t essential

Good administration and organisational skills

Strong attention to detail across orders, quantities and documentation

Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal teams

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business systems

Oracle experience would be advantageous, but isn’t essential

A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
