We’re looking for aqualified Mechanical Fitterto join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility on a permanent afternoon shift.
You’ll be responsible for keeping production equipment running reliably, completing preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and automated machinery
- Bearing, belt, chain and seal replacements
- Equipment adjustments, servicing and changeovers
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and improvements
- Completing maintenance records and work orders
- Working closely with production and electrical teams
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
About You
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Previous manufacturing/production maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Hands-on experience with production machinery
- Positive understanding of preventative maintenance
- Strong safety and quality focus
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Pharmaceutical, FMCG, food or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
