The Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Technical Director from Systems Engineering & Integration to join a growing specialist team delivering complex rail and infrastructure projects across Queensland. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading Systems Engineering and Integration activities on major projects
- Developing Systems Integration strategies, plans and roadmaps
- Providing technical leadership across integration, testing and commissioning
- Developing operational readiness frameworks and supporting trial operations




- Leading systems assurance, verification and validation activities
- Developing operational, maintenance and test concepts
- Supporting project testing strategies, sequencing and commissioning priorities
- Working across multidisciplinary teams and supporting business development
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing across the wider team

The Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Significant experience delivering large, complex projects
- Demonstrated experience integrating complex systems from subsystem level through to end-to-end operational integration
- Strong understanding of systems assurance, safety, V&V;, testing and commissioning
- Experience in rail systems integration is highly desirable
- Knowledge of CBTC and/or ETCS is highly advantageous
- Experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management would be beneficial
