What is the role?

the company is seeking a Senior QA Automation Architect to help evolve test automation capabilities from primarily AV-sync testing into broader audio quality coverage across the company TVs, soundbars, and headphones. In this role, you will partner closely with the team lead to architect and advance the automation ecosystem, with a solid emphasis on AI-driven innovation through internal initiatives. You will design and implement test analysis systems that identify quality gaps, predict failure patterns, and optimize test effectiveness across products. This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable working through ambiguity while navigating evolving priorities. You will establish new methodologies for measuring and improving test quality beyond simple pass/fail metrics, focusing on regression prevention and production reliability. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in test architecture, embedded systems automation, and AI-powered quality assurance, and is excited to drive meaningful transformation in how the company tests and delivers audio experiences.

We value your AI skills if have built fluency across the agentic engineering toolchain — coding harnesses like Claude Code or Cursor, MCP servers, custom skills, or agent frameworks. And you can describe projects where you shipped real work with these tools. You know how to drive an agent, verify its output, and ramp on an unfamiliar codebase with an agent helping you.

What are the responsibilities of the role?





- Design and implement test analysis systems that identify quality gaps, predict failure patterns, and optimise test effectiveness

- Design systems that collect, analyse, and act on testing data to continuously improve quality processes

- Leverage AI-powered tools to implement test automation, failure analysis, and root cause identification

- Establish new methodologies for measuring and improving test quality beyond simple pass/fail metrics, focusing on regression prevention and production reliability

- Define and implement architectural patterns that make testing more effective, maintainable, and aligned with business impact

- Drive systematic regression tracking and implement processes to prevent regression reoccurrence

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality initiatives with broader engineering goals

- Mentor engineers on best practices in test architecture, automation design, and AI-assisted quality assurance

What experience would help someone be successful in this role at the company?

- Expertise in test architecture and automation systems design

- Programming experience across multiple languages, with Python as a core requirement

- Expertise in test automation with embedded systems in the loop

- Proven track record driving test transformation initiatives that significantly improved test effectiveness and reduced production issues

- Ability to design, implement, and optimize solutions leveraging AI tools and predictive analytics for quality assurance

- Knowledge of continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity, AWS) and their optimization for quality gates

- Experience with test flakiness analysis, failure pattern recognition, and automated root cause identification

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams on quality initiatives

- Experience mentoring engineers and driving organisational change in testing practices

- Experience as a project QA or development lead, or in a similar capacity

- Certifications or training in AI/ML or AI-driven testing approaches
