As Compliance Manager, you'll play a critical role in helping Bank First confidently navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Partnering closely with senior leaders and business teams to support the ongoing evolution of our compliance framework, ensuring regulatory obligations are understood, managed and embedded across the organisation.

This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional compliance monitoring and become a trusted advisor to the business. You'll influence decision-making, drive regulatory uplift initiatives and help shape how compliance supports our strategic ambitions, ensuring we continue to operate with integrity, accountability and a strong focus on member outcomes.

Working across the organisation, you'll have the opportunity to build strong stakeholder relationships, contribute to strategic projects and make a meaningful impact within a purpose-led organisation committed to delivering better outcomes for our members.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a pragmatic and partnership-focused approach. You'll be comfortable challenging constructively, influencing stakeholders at all levels and providing clear, actionable advice in complex situations.

You'll enjoy working across the breadth of an organisation, building trusted relationships and helping leaders confidently navigate regulatory obligations while supporting business objectives.

You'll also bring:





- Significant compliance experience within financial services, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. ASIC, APRA, AML/CTF, OAIC) and industry codes.
- Proven experience leading compliance frameworks, obligations registers, assurance programs, second-line reviews and breach management processes.
- Strong capability in interpreting regulatory change and providing practical, risk-based advice to senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience reporting to executives, committees, boards and regulators.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to drive regulatory uplift initiatives and foster a strong culture of compliance across the organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (preferred).
