Boston Built is looking for an experienced Commercial / Industrial Site Manager to take the lead on one of our major projects in Brendale, North Brisbane .
And there’s a big reason we’re looking for the right person.
This project is just the beginning.
We have four consecutive projects lined up , giving the right person genuine long-term job security and the opportunity to grow with the business.
Our current project involves the construction of three large-scale bulky goods warehouses , which Boston Built will retain, lease and manage as part of our growing property portfolio.
We’re not simply building and walking away.
We’re building assets we intend to own.
That means quality, programme, safety and workmanship matter — because we live with the result.
WHY BOSTON BUILT IS DIFFERENT
Boston Built operates differently to most builder-developers.
We have our own internal construction teams , giving our Site Managers significantly more control over project delivery.
Our internal structure and site teams include:
Formworkers
Steel Fixers
Labourers
You won't simply be coordinating subcontractors from the sidelines.
You will be driving our internal teams every day, along with the support of your site team, back by the office and senior management.
You’ll be responsible for setting the standard, planning ahead, coordinating resources and getting the absolute best out of the people around you.
That requires a Site Manager who can lead — not just manage.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the site and drive the project from start to finish.
Someone who is organised, proactive and always thinking three steps ahead.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading the day-to-day site operations
Driving our internal construction teams
Planning upcoming works and resources
Managing programme and critical path activities
Coordinating trades, suppliers and subcontractors
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Driving site safety and compliance
Managing site logistics and sequencing
Identifying problems before they become problems
Keeping the project moving and the team accountable
Working closely with Project Management and Senior Management
Delivering the project on time, safely and to a high standard
WE WANT A LEADER — NOT A BOSS
This is probably the most important part of the role.
We want a people person.
Someone who understands that getting the best out of a team isn't about screaming the loudest or throwing your weight around.
It’s about earning respect.
You build relationships.
You hold people accountable.
You recognise good work.
You support your team when things get difficult.
And you create an environment where people actually want to turn up and do their best work.
If you're the type of Site Manager who can walk onto site, know what's happening, know what needs to happen next and have your team moving in the same direction — we want to hear from you.
FORWARD THINKING IS EVERYTHING
We need someone who doesn't wait for tomorrow's problems to become today's emergencies.
You should naturally be thinking:
What's happening next week?
What resources do I need?
What's going to hold us up?
What needs to be ordered?
What needs to be coordinated?
Where are we going to lose time?
How do we get ahead of it now?
The ability to plan, organise and stay ahead of the programme will be critical to your success.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an experienced Commercial / Industrial Site Manager who:
Has a strong track record delivering large-scale commercial or industrial projects
Is confident leading large teams
Has excellent planning and organisational skills
Understands construction sequencing and programme
Takes ownership and accountability
Has a strong eye for quality
Is safety-focused
Communicates clearly and confidently
Builds strong relationships with trades, subcontractors and internal teams
Can motivate people and get the best out of them
Thinks ahead and solves problems before they escape
Brings energy and a positive attitude to site
Actually enjoys construction and takes pride in what they deliver
THE OPPORTUNITY
$200,000 – $250,000 + Super
But this isn't just about the salary.
You'll be joining a business with:
4 consecutive Brisbane projects already lined up
Robust long-term job security
Direct access to Senior Management
Significant internal construction resources
A genuinely hands‑on leadership role
And the opportunity to grow alongside a builder-developer that is continuing to expand its own property portfolio.
LOCATION
Ready for your next long‑term move?
If you're an experienced Site Manager who wants more than just another project to put on the CV — if you want to lead a team, have genuine influence over delivery and be part of a business with a serious pipeline of work — we'd like to hear from you.
Build Big. Build Better. Build Together.
