The Opportunity

n

An experienced Senior Accountant – Business Services is sought to take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and provide a comprehensive range of accounting, taxation and business services.

n

You'll enjoy:

- Managing your own portfolio of SME and individual clients
n
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS
n
- Providing practical accounting and taxation advice
n
- Preparing and managing client budgets
n
- Working directly with clients and developing genuine relationships
n
- Having autonomy over your workload while being supported by an experienced team
n
- Working collaboratively in a friendly, respectful and professional environment

About You

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline
n
- 5+ years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
n
- CA, CPA or IPA qualification,



or be working towards one — beneficial but not essential
n
- Strong experience preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS
n
- Experience working with a range of business structures, including self-managed-superfunds and individual clients
n
- Experience with Xero, XPM, FYI and BGL360 advantageous
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
n
- A proactive and professional approach
n
- High levels of integrity and attention to detail
n
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
n
