The Service This a brand recent beautifully presented long daycare centre that is family owned and run! This new service is beautifully modern and purpose-built, with large indoor and outdoor spaces for children and educators to interact in.
The service is built upon a play-based learning philosophy, and is aimed for foster, build and create curiosity within the children. The management team bring a wealth of knowledge and experience within the early childhood sector and looking to expand their knowledge through their teachings.
The service understands the importance of continued excellence is developed through investing in their teams. Thus, there is ongoing professional development and growth opportunities at the service.
Your new role Your role as Centre Director will require you to oversee the full day-to-day of the centre which includes paving the pathway to leading the educational and operational responsibilities, including compliance and staff development. You will mentor, support and guide the team in accordance with the EYLF and NQF, and build strong relationships with the community and families.
You will use your previous experience in a similar role to ensure the high standards of the centre are maintained and using your interpersonal skills to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for children, families and educators.
You will be supported by a full time Office Manager and an excellent leadership team to share ideas and experiences with. You will report directly to the Director of Operations of the service.

What you need… The successful applicant will have,
- 3 years+ of experience as a Centre Director – Or in a similar role
- Thorough understanding on compliance and implementation of child safety procedures within Early Childhood
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma of Children Services or ACECQA
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Right to work in Australia
- Strong knowledge of computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
