What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant who is highly analytical, detail-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring at least 2 years’ management accounting experience, ideally within retail or FMCG, strong Excel and numerical skills, and the ability to confidently work across multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Just as importantly, you’ll be a strong communicator who can build relationships across the business, challenge the numbers, solve problems and take ownership from insight through to action!
Your Key Functions Will Include:
Provision of accurate and timely reporting of monthly management accounts and analysis to support business decision making
Accuracy of monthly reports to be issued with zero errors
Ensure accurate invoicing in AP21 of intercompany charges across entities as required, according to the EOM timeline
Prepare monthly rent and outgoings payments
Oversee and manage all landlord leases, invoicing and payment enquiries
Complete out-of-cycle payment runs
Partner with key stakeholders to produce and present the annual budgets and forward projections
Assist with the annual audit
Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
What You’ll Bring:
At least 2 years’ experience in management accounting in a Retail/FCCG setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong numerical skills
Intermediate Excel skills, Advanced preferred
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
An understanding of banking systems and processes
Ability to build both internal and external relationships
Ability to work to tight deadlines, set priorities and manage within limited resources
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
