Ochre Medical Practice Armidale NSW is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, Receptionist to join their supportive team.

Location: Ochre Medical Practice Armidale NSW

Established in 2002 by GPs Dr Ross Lamplugh and Dr Hamish Meldrum in Bourke, NSW, Ochre Health is a leading provider of primary healthcare in Australia, operating a network of over 60medical centres around the country. Built on a founding purpose of improving health in regional and rural communities and now partnering with over 350 doctors, the company is unique amongst its peers in recording and reporting on patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)

Liaise with patients and their families, GPs, other health professionals and their staff in a compassionate manner

Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence and results

All general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required

Provide ongoing support to GP and practice nurse as required

Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the internal clinical team

Ability to work independently and as a team

Previous Medical Reception experience preferred

Best practice software experience highly regarded but not essential.





Strong Customer Service Skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced workplace

Confident in the use of technology

Show initiative and work productively within a team environment

Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties

Ability to work alone and as part of a close team

Exceptional time management skills

Establish and maintain a great rapport with patients and colleagues.
