Glenbrook Surgery is seeking a reliable and compassionate part-time medical receptionist to be the first point of contact for their patients.

About the Role

n

Part-time: 2-3 days per week including some Saturdays.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Greet patients warmly, manage face-to-face check-ins, and direct inquiries.
n
- Answer phone calls, manage emails, and book patient appointments.
n
- Process patient billings, Medicare rebates, and EFTPOS transactions.
n
- Update and maintain confidential patient records.
n
- General administrative support to doctors and practice management.
n
- Proven experience in a customer service or reception role (medical experience using software like Medical Director is a strong advantage).
n
- Clear, professional, and empathetic communication skills.
n
- Strong computer literacy and attention to detail.
n
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
n
- A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
n
