As well as a well-regarded government secondary school is looking for a VCE History Teacher to join its Humanities team. ASAP or from Term 4 start, this is a full-time opportunity with ongoing potential for the right teacher.
About the Role
- Teach VCE Australian and Modern History
- Inspire students to question, analyse and understand the events that shaped our world
- Teach additional History classes across the secondary years

About You
You’re a qualified and VIT registered teacher who knows that a great History lesson can leave students thinking long after the bell.
- Experience teaching VCE Australian and/or Modern History
- Strong knowledge of the VCE curriculum
- Confident classroom management skills
- The ability to engage students through stories, evidence, debate and historical perspectives
- A genuine interest in helping students understand how the past connects to the world around them
- Full Australian working rights
