- Special Needs Teachers – Autism – South East / Bayside
ANZUK Education is seeking passionate Special Needs Teachers (Autism) for casual opportunities in specialist schools across Melbourne's Bayside and South Eastern suburbs, with current demand in the Casey and Frankston areas.
These schools support students with a range of intellectual, physical, and emotional disabilities, focusing on helping each student achieve their individual potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
In this role, you will:
- Work with small class sizes
- Be supported by teaching assistants and experienced staff
- Join inclusive and well-resourced specialist school environments
- Make a meaningful impact in students' lives
Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.
Skills & experience
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience working with children with Autism (preferred but not essential)
- A passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Understanding of special education and disabilities
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy
Requirements
- Current VIT registration (or in progress)
- Recent teaching experience (outlined in CV)
- Two professional referees (principal-class preferred; mentors accepted for graduates)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Versatile casual work to suit your schedule
