About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to join our growing business as one of the founding members of our current Ipswich Sales team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in professionalising and streamlining our Trade Counter operations and Customer Service Support, establishing the processes, systems and standards needed to deliver an exceptional customer experience from day one

Based at our newest warehouse and office facility in Ipswich (Bundamba) , you’ll be right at the heart of the operation. With direct warehouse walk-through access, you’ll have full visibility of how our business operates day-to-day, from customer interactions and sales through to warehousing, distribution and supplier relationships.

This is not a traditional Office Manager or administration support role. Integral to its success is the ability to see things before they happen, apply management techniques supported by procedures and support our people in a fast-growing, distribution-led business.

As the Office Manager you will

Play a key, influential role within the team, overseeing daily customer service and Trade Counter operations to ensure customer enquiries, orders, pickups, returns, and issues are handled accurate, efficiently and professionally





Act as key escalation points for all customers and suppliers; balancing professionalism and problem-solving skills to ensure our operations are effective and process-driven.

Work closely with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and other internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints

This is an opportunity to help shape a new location from the ground up, establish best-practice processes and play an integral role in the continued growth of Tradezone

What you’ll bring:

3+ years’ experience in an office management or senior administration role

Significant experience business, administration or operational coordination roles with demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team

Strong interpersonal skills identified through change implementation experience in your current role

Confidence in engagement with Customers, Suppliers and Internal teams across the board

Experience in distribution, wholesale or hybrid supply chain environments is highly regarded

A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for embracing challenges with a proactive mindset
