Warehouse Storeperson Service Stream Group Swan View, Western Australia, Australia
As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of Service Stream's warehouse and logistics functions. This role requires strong organisational skills, a safety-first mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a clean, safe working setting.
This is a full-time permanent position based at our Welshpool, Perth warehouse.
About the role
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner (where licensed).
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Manage documentation including delivery dockets, manifests, and inventory records.
- Support inventory control, stock rotation, and storage optimisation.
- Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and dispatch.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storeperson role.
- Forklift licence (LF/LO) preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch, and stock control.
- Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems).
Qualifications
- Forklift licence (desirable).
- Relevant certificates in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not required).
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WHS standards.
