About The Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist clients in their daily living activities, helping them maintain independence in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (hoists used when necessary)
- Providing personal care: grooming, bathing, dressing
- Bowel therapy and catheter care
- Supporting basic wound care and medication assistance
- Offering domestic support: meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Facilitating community access: supporting clients to attend appointments and social activities through driving or public transport

Requirements
- Valid Australian manual driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- While prior experience is preferred, we are committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate
- Smartphone device
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Card or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module or willingness to complete
- Flexibility to pick up additional back-fill shifts
