ALLIED HEALTH AND PYSCHOLOGIST

We enjoy working alongside like-minded health professionals and we are on the search for an experienced Psychologist that is compassionate, has a client centred approach and can work collaboratively to help individuals develop the skills to navigate life challenges.

About the chance:

n

- Supporting and providing psychological assessment and treatment from young people through to adults on the full range of disorders and presentations.
n
- Providing high standard assessments, psychological, counselling, and therapeutic interventions.
n
- Liaising and working with internal and external stakeholders.
n

n

Employment Arrangements

n

n
- Working with us under room rental where you have use of our room and common facilities on a sessional rate but handle all the back end of your practice yourself.
n
- Working with us as an independent contractor, where we handle all the admin (bookings, billings, admin support, software for patient management, marketing).
n

Skills and Experiences

n

n
- Full registration with AHPRA.
n
- Eligible to register with Medicare.
n
- Working with children check and police check.
n
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
n
- At least 2 years' experience in the field.
n
- Managing a case load, case notes, review letters, ethical responsibilities, and professional development requirements.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and easily.
n
- Ability to liaise with general practitioners, psychiatrists, other allied health professionals and stakeholders.
n
- Knowledge of and competency with assessment, formulation, and implementation of treatment plans.
n
