Senior Manager or Associate Director - Business Services

Step into a senior leadership role with a growing firm in Brisbane's inner suburbs serving an expanding portfolio of $40m to $100m turnover clients.

About The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically robust Business Services leader to join a well established Brisbane firm at the Senior Manager or Associate Director level. The firm services a portfolio of privately owned and family businesses. As the firm continues to win larger, more complex clients in the $40m to $100m turnover range, they are looking for someone who can lead from the front technically, manage senior client relationships and mentor a growing team.

What You Will Be Doing

- Managing a portfolio of complex clients, including groups turning over $40m to $100m
- Reviewing and overseeing financial statements, tax returns and complex compliance work for companies, trusts and groups




- Providing high level advisory support including structuring, forecasting and cash flow management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with business owners, CFOs and other key stakeholders
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of accountants
- Working closely with Partners and Directors on business development and firm growth initiatives
- Reviewing work prepared by senior staff and providing technical guidance

What We Are Looking For

- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong technical background in Business Services, ideally gained across mid tier, second tier or Big 4 firms
- Proven experience managing clients in the $40m to $100m turnover range is essential, regardless of firm background
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing a team
