We are currently seeking a Senior EnvironmentalConsultant, to join ourVICContaminatedSitesTeam to assist with some of Australia's of largest and most complex industrial facilities closures. We welcome applications from both individual leaders and established teams seeking a new platform to grow.

The role will involve forming providing technical oversight and strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges.

n

The successful candidate will need:

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology
n
- 8+ years'consultingexperiencein contaminated landand groundwaterand remediation projects.
n
- Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations
n
- Experience inlandfillassessmentsand compliance(desirable but not essential)
n
- Demonstrated experience in site supervision, managing site investigations and various sampling methods including soil and groundwater.
n
- Strong communication, well developedreport writing, and project management skills.
n
- A focus on safety and environmental responsibility.
n
- Knowledge of NEPM as well as health & safety best practice principles
n
- Strong knowledge ofVICenvironmental legislation
n
- The candidate must have a great eye for detail, a sense of practicalityin regard tolegislative and technical interpretation, and the ability to find pragmatic solutions.

General responsibilities include:

n

n
- Undertaking preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, preparing PSI and DSI Assessment Reports, site management plans and remediation action plans
n
- Initiation, planning, leading and executing complex contaminated land/waste projects, including soil, vapour, surface water,



wastewater and groundwater assessments
n
- Providing mentoring and technical oversight to the contaminated landand groundwaterteam
n
- Engaging with clients and other disciplinary teams to determine innovative solutions to complex environmental problems
n
