Job Description

We are seeking experienced Data Centre Operations Technician's in both Melbourne & Sydney to support the delivery and maintenance of critical infrastructure. This is a hands-on position and plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of next gen data centre services.

What You'll Be Doing

- Installing, maintaining, and supporting server, storage, and network infrastructure.

- Performing copper and fibre cabling installations, testing, patching, and documentation.
n
- Monitoring data centre infrastructure and responding to incidents, alarms, and service requests.
n
- Troubleshooting hardware, connectivity, and infrastructure issues to minimise operational impact.
n
- Assisting with equipment deployments, upgrades, relocations, and decommissioning activities.
n
- Maintaining accurate records of assets, rack layouts, and technical procedures.
n
- Conducting routine operational checks across power, cooling, environmental, and security systems.

- Supporting change activities and planned maintenance within established operational frameworks.

The following experience would be advantageous:

n

n
- ITIL knowledge or experience working within IT service management environments.
n
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Server+, or CompTIA Network+.
n
- Exposure to enterprise-scale or hyperscale data centre operations.
n
- Familiarity with DCIM, monitoring, or infrastructure management tools.
n
- Basic scripting or automation experience using technologies such as PowerShell or Python.

This is a hybrid position which wil require you to work onsite in either Sydney or Melbourne.
