n An exciting chance is available for an experienced OSHC leader to step into a Service Director role within a well‐established Outside School Hours Care service located in the Canberra region.
n
This role is ideal for a confident, hands‐on leader who enjoys supporting teams, maintaining strong operational standards, and delivering a high‐quality OSHC program.

About the Role
n
As Service Director, you will oversee the day‐to‐day operations of a large OSHC service, including before and after school care and vacation care. You will provide leadership to a team of educators while ensuring compliance, safety, and positive outcomes for children and families.
n
The successful candidate will act as the Nominated Supervisor, or be able to meet regulatory requirements to do so.
This role is offered as a medium‐term contract, with potential to become ongoing.

- Full‐time hours, 38 hours per week, may include split shifts

- Salary up to $100,000 plus salary packaging and additional benefits

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead daily operations across before and after school care and vacation care
n
- Act as Nominated Supervisor and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
n
- Support, mentor, and coordinate a team of educators
n
- Manage staffing, rostering, and operational priorities
n
- Maintain strong relationships with families and key stakeholders
n
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and well‐run service environment
n

About You
n
n
- Proven experience in OSHC leadership, Service Director, Coordinator, or strong 2IC ready to step up
n
- Strong understanding of OSHC operations and compliance requirements
n
- Confident, organised, and able to lead a team effectively
n
- Available to commence within a short timeframe
n
n
