The Opportunity Join a collaborative team of Emergency Medicine Specialists delivering high-quality emergency care across a busy regional referral hospital.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Providing specialist emergency care across a broad range of adult and paediatric presentations
n
- Leading the assessment and management of critically ill and injured patients
n
- Supervising and supporting Registrars, Resident Medical Officers and medical students
n
- Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
n
- Contributing to education, simulation training and departmental teaching programs
n
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital
n
- Participating in the consultant on-call roster
n

Requirements Applicants Should Meet One Of The Following Criteria

n

n
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (FACEM) and at least 12 months of recent Emergency Medicine experience
n
- Currently enrolled in the ACEM Training Program
n
- Recently qualified Australian or New Zealand FACEM
n
- International Medical Graduate eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand)
n
- International Medical Graduate with a confirmed ACEM Specialist Pathway interview date
n
- International Medical Graduate assessed by ACEM as Substantially Comparable
n
