A Snapshot

As Director of Electrical Systems based in Sydney or Singapore , you will report to the Senior Director - T echnical Operations and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region , making your mark in several ways:

- You are a multi disciplined data centre technical operations SME
- Multiskilled with electrical (HV/MV/LV) experience and knowledge across a wide range of asset types and data centre designs.
- You are a highly experienced technical manager with great communication skills and a leader of leaders.
- As the D irector of Electrical Systems , you will interface with key areas of the business such as Design & innovation , construction, commissioning & procurement as the voice of the customer.

Your Day to Day





- Manage a team ofElectricalspecialists to ensure effectivesolutionsimplementationandissue resolution.
- Represent Technical Operations in all design aspects of new builds and upgrades including vendor selection.FWT/FOK, Commissioning andtesting as needed.
- Define & augment whenrequiredour product specifications with an “Operational Lens”
- Define the required maintenance (frequency and scope) on allelectricalcritical infrastructure & develop standards which will be implemented across the portfolio.
- Partner with site operations on event RCA’s, product failures, risks and be the centralElectrical Systemsfeedback loop for our design / procurement teams.
- Oversight and resolution of theElectricaloperational aspects of new project deployments.
- Development ofElectricaloperations strategies for new sites across APAC, with a focus on local codes & regulations especially in emerging regions where codes are evolving.
- Support operational incidents and escalation with technicalexpertise.
- Effective andtimelyProblem resolution within Electrical Systems.

Requirements

- You have 10+ years of experience in working in either data centres or mission critical environments
- Ideally,



you have experience working for a data centre operator and haveprevioushyperscale experience in the APAC market
- You have tenured experience with managing a team of specialistelectricalengineers.
- You area strong teamplayer and exceptional communicator with influencing skills – working across partner teams in AirTrunk such as Development, Design/ Procurement.
- You are the subject matter expert for all aspects ofElectrical Systemsoperations including aspects suchLow/Medium/High Voltage installations.
- Ideally, you have strongcommercial acumen to understand the commercial implications of engineering decisions
- You are willing to travel to other APAC regions on a regular basis
