Reservations & Operations Coordinator – Down Under Tours

As our Reservations & Operations Coordinator, you'll be the glue between our office, our drivers and our guests – juggling bookings, dispatch and radio comms to keep our day tours and group charters running like clockwork.

What you'll be doing:

n

n
- Entering FIT email bookings and recent group bookings/amendments
n
- Answering phone calls – queries, confirmations and new bookings
n
- Completing AM and PM checklists with confidence
n
- Helping Operations dispatch coaches and fielding driver queries on pickups
n
- Communicating with drivers via radio
n
- Assisting agents and guides with confirmations and amendments by phone
n
- Building rapport with drivers – understanding their restrictions, coach types and luggage capabilities
n
- Completing scheduling for charter and FIT efficiently
n




- Dispatching all drivers with paperwork each morning
n
- Cross-hiring vehicles when we're at capacity
n
- Completing groups checklists accurately
n

What you'll bring:

- Tact, maturity and patience when working with people from all backgrounds and levels of touring knowledge
n
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with sharp attention to detail

- Self-motivation, flexibility and reliability

- A genuine, strong client focus

- An interest in building your knowledge of the tourism industry and distribution chain
n
- The ability to compile basic reports
n
- Intermediate computer skills
n
- A calm head under pressure

This role requires weekend work as part of the roster.

Pay rates:

n

n
- Monday to Friday – $33.31/hour
n
- Saturday – $38.06/hour
n
- Sunday – $45.20/hour
n
