About the role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Facilities Attendant to join our team at Moranbah SPV. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the presentation, functionality and safety of village grounds, facilities and buildings.
Working across a 14 days on, 7 days off roster, you will provide quality grounds maintenance, basic repairs, waste management and general facilities support while delivering excellent service to our guests and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake general repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities and buildings
- Carry out gardening and landscaping duties
- Collect, maintain and manage waste throughout the village
- Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, whipper snippers and blowers
- Ensure workshops, storage areas, tools and vehicles are maintained in a tidy and safe condition
- Process maintenance requests through the property maintenance management system
- Follow all health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards and improvement opportunities
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to guests, clients and colleagues
- Assist with other facilities-related duties as required
About you
- Previous experience in a maintenance, trades assistant, groundskeeping or facilities role
- Current manual Driver's Licence (Class C)
- Forklift Licence highly regarded
- Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance management systems
What we offer
- FIFO package: $77,781.22 + super
- DIDO package: $84,781.22 + super (includes $7,000 annual incentive payment)

Responsibilities
People
- To be clear about annual
personal and company objectives and to take part in regular appraisal
processes to assess performance and provide feedback to management.

other training as required, and to attend periodic team and individual
meetings as required.

Customers
- To deliver excellent
facilities services to the Management team, in a timely manner, consistent
with all relevant quality standards and service level agreements, with the
minimum of disruption to guests, customers and colleagues.
- To facilitate and maintain a
safe environment for our customers.
Process
- To undertake general repairs
and maintenance of site grounds, facilities and buildings.
- To carry out gardening
duties.
- To ensure regular collection
and maintenance of waste throughout site.
- To keep all work areas,
storage areas, workshops, tools and vehicles in a tidy, safe and
professional condition.
- To ensure all health, safety,
quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met,
ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors and
visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near miss
events.
- To follow Standard Operating
Procedures in all relevant areas of Facilities services and to contribute
ideas for improving processes and procedures.
- To use IT systems as
necessary including processing all maintenance requests through Civeo
property maintenance management system.
Finance
- To facilitate random and
programmed audits of Facilities Services.
Other
- Any other required duties
appropriate to the scope, nature and seniority of the role.
Qualifications
Professional
Qualifications
- LF Forklift Licence
- Manual Drivers licence, Class
C desirable.
Experience
- At least 1 years work
experience in a maintenance or trades assistant role, preferably in the
hospitality industry.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and
procedural manuals.
- Knowledge of equipment and
materials routinely used in Facilities Operations (e.g. ride on mower,
push mower, whipper snipper, blower, high pressure hose, small parts).
